Contributor's Guidelines:
We love fiction, but we love the traditional fairy tale even more. Given the fact that there
are innumerable websites showcasing short stories that possess a modern feel, we here at What Dreams Do Come are committed
to publishing tales that include and exclude the following:
What we want:
Stories with simple characters, symbolism, naturalistic
and mythological themes. Or merely a commanding description of the landscape and environmenf of the character.
Examples are A. A. Milne, George MacDonald, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, Roger Lancelot Greene, or any other traditional
collection of fairy tales and simplistic fantastical stories.
What we don't want: Stories where characterization is
complex and psycho-dramatic to where it tacitly subscribes to modern theories of personal development and psychology.
Such examples are T. S. Eliot, Stephen King, Malcolm Sanders and Anne McCaffrey.
Just send anything that you have written which you feel is appropriate for this website; mythopoeic fiction, fairy tales,
etc...
